A specialist in Operations, General Management, HR, Health and Safety, Technical and Production, arts and culture and charities.
Are you looking for training so your organisation can meet statutory requirements for Health and Safety?
Would you like that training to be fun and interactive so that your teams retain what they've learned?
Are you looking to train new and not so new leaders and managers in leadership skills?
Why use me? I have 10 years as the Health and Safety Officer in 3 major venues including the iconic Roundhouse; 15 years in senior leadership roles within 4 leading arts charities; 30 years experience in theatre production.
About me
I’m Fiona Greenhill.
I’m a Coach, Trainer and Consultant working alongside, and supporting, charities, creatives, theatre, arts and culture, and anyone who lives or works in the New Forest
I've worked in the arts and charity sector for 30 years, starting as Deputy Stage Manager (DSM) then Company & Stage Manager in theatre and opera - touring the UK and Europe and in the West End for over 14 years.
In 2008, I moved into my first senior leadership role as Head of Production at the Albany, working and learning my way up to Head of Operations, and producing some circus, before moving to the Roundhouse as Head of Technical and Production in 2013.
Four years later I joined the Almeida to be their General Manager, soon becoming Operations Director.
I’ve worked across technical and production, health and safety, operations, general management and HR.
After I trained as a coach I decided to focus on that and consultancy for my career and to start searching for that elusive work/life balance
(or life/work as I like to say). I now live in the New Forest where the stunning countryside and coastline definitely help that balance.
I undertake regular CPD and supervision.
I'm a Member of the Association for Coaching (MAC) and comply with their code of ethics.
In a world where people want to feel that they are more important than the work they're doing
Where they’re worried about the cost of living
And are worried about the future
I wish that every organisation will be people focused and that every leader will be compassionate, empathetic and supportive.
Testimonials
"Working with Fiona as a coach during my first Executive role was incredibly valuable. Our fortnightly sessions were a much-needed, held space to examine my practices and priorities. Her gentle questions and even more importantly, her patience and deliberate silences, helped me navigate a career transition in a way that encouraged self-care as a necessary aspect of strong leadership. Fiona's coaching helped me reveal insights that were sometimes surprising, but were also often an articulation of core values that I had not previously been able to take the time and focus to explore fully. Whether embarking on a new adventure or if you're already half way up a mountain, I wholeheartedly recommend Fiona for your support team - you'll be the stronger for it, and much more able to enjoy the views."
Nicola
Executive Director
"The team really enjoyed learning from Fiona.
She combines an informed and authoritative approach to health & safety with a natural desire to find the right framework for the organisation she's working with, knowing that one size does not fit all.
She encourages curiosity and questions, which is so important, and why teams always benefit so much from her training. "
